Happy Summer Solstice!!
Today marks the official first day of summer.
Now is the time when we need to be outside, taking in the sun, rays and warmth (to get our energy, clearing, healing, and vitamin D – even if for 5-10 minutes without sunscreen.)
Take a few minutes when you are standing or sitting in the sun to really feel the energy from it. The strength and warmth that is being provided by the sun is amazing. It is something we are meant to take in, but in small amounts (no more than 5-10 minutes a few times per week.)
You can even put a glass of water in the sun for a few minutes to give it an energy charge – which will then help charge your aura/energy field. Though like being in the sun, this is something you will only want to do off and on – sipping the water, and only doing this a couple times per week.
Why the limits? 1. You don’t want a sunburn. 2. You don’t want to get overheated. 3. You don’t want to take in too much energy all at once. Think of the saying “there can be too much of a good thing.” Well, that principal applies here. Too much energy from the sun will overload and overwhelm the energy body (aura) and may make you feel over energized or the opposite and feel quite unwell. Small doses of sun can be good for your mind, body and spirit. Just make sure to keep it SMALL doses.
